10 Spring 2022 Fashion Trends Our Stylists Are Looking Forward To

The team at The Stylish Co. compiled a roundup of Spring trends we’re totally going to be seen wearing this season. Read on to find some new warmer weather inspo. Let’s make Spring 2022 your most stylish season ever.

1. Crochet

Along with everything DIY, crochet is very on-trend. Easily incorporate crochet into your outfit with accessories like bags and hats. Market bags and bucket hats are an easy and approachable  place to start.

2. Touch of Neon

Neon, especially neon pink and green, is being seen everywhere right now. These colors are surprisingly flattering and easily pair with neutrals like navy. Keep an eye out for the next time you spot someone wearing neon.

3. Maximal Dressing

Wearing what you want is IN. Also known as “dopamine dressing” or better known as “go ahead and pile it on” this trend completely goes against Coco Chanel’s #1 accessory rule. These days everyone is wearing all of the colors, all of the accessories, and feeling confident doing it.

4. Pearls

Most definitely not your grandma’s pearls, but those will do, these neutral gemstones can be dressed up or down as you please. Pearls, while timeless, come off today as modern in their iridescence and texture. This Spring, pair pearls with fun tees and jeans for a casual feel or a sundress and flats for something more put together.

5. Ballet Flats

Another take on a timeless classic, the ballet flat has been reimagined as an athleisure counterpart. Ballerina off duty, also known as balletcore, is reminiscent of the “model off duty” look. The goal is to look like you just got out of ballet rehearsal, in the chicest way possible, and ballet flats achieve this aesthetic.

6. Monochrome Matching Sets

Everyone loves an outfit you can throw on without thinking about it. Get yourself a matching set and feel 100% put together on the way to Trader Joe’s. Opt for something comfortable but in a higher end fabric like linen.

7. Short Skirt Suits

Jumping off #6, a matching skirt suit, especially with a skirt on the slightly shorter side, is in for the migration back to the office. This trend also speaks to the early 2000’s comeback that we’re seeing everywhere.

8. Popcorn Texture

Along with all things Y2K, we are seeing a reassurance in bubble or popcorn texture fabric. While this trend may seem gaudy, it is much more subtle in person. Plus, the fabrics are usually lightweight and stretchy, making them perfect to transition from Spring to Summer.

9. Bermuda Shorts

A cousin of the biker short, we’re seeing bermuda shorts making their way back into the fashion lexicon. Either in denim or a nice Chino, pair with an open button down and some clogs and you might just think you’re beachside.

10. Silk Sleepwear

Loungewear had its time, and we’re beginning to move into business casual again, but many of us are still hanging onto our PJ’s. Silky lounge silkwear is having its moment, mixing style and self care, it’s like a chic version of the sweatsuit.

If you decide to try one of these trends, make sure to post a picture and tag us #thestylishco.

Stylishly yours,

Jeannine & team at The Stylish Co.
